Rutland Farm Park, Oakham is a traditionally run family farm with rare breeds of animals and poultry. The farm is set in 19 acres of parkland with a woodland walk by the stream and a Victorian farm yard.

The farm offers an opportunity to experience the country side in the town. Younger children can play in the covered barn while the older children can use the out door play area and the ride on tractors.

The farm has a variety of animals including, cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, donkeys, ponies, a shire horse, ducks, chickens, hens, alpacas, llama, rabbits and guinea pigs. Bags of food are available to purchase for feeding the poultry, the goats sheep and the alpacas. During the winter carrots can also be purchased to feed the cattle, while in the Spring lambs and calves can be bottled feed, (booking required at the pay desk when you arrive).

Walk in the goat enclosure for a close up experience, or cuddle a guinea pig at cuddle time. The tea room offers a range of freshly prepared hot and cold food, drinks home made cakes, ice creams and much more. The gift shop offers a range of farm themes toys and gifts along with a large range of Tractor Ted merchandise and a mechanical ride with a video screen. There is plenty of free parking on site with disabled parking and facilities. Both the Rutland County Museum and Oakham Castle are within easy walking distance from the farm.

Opening hours are Tuesday - Sunday 10am - 5.00pm Summer and 10am - 4.00pm Winter.
