Perched above Corran Sands in the crofting settlement of Knockrome, Bothan Jura Retreat offers boutique, snug self-catering bothans (Mrs Leonard's Cottage, The Black Hut, The Rusty Hut) - each with a Swedish wood-fired hot tub and cosy wood burner. Mrs Leonard's adds a private sauna. You'll find top-quality comfort fused with island solitude, cold-water immersion via an on-site chilled ice barrel, communal fire-pit seating, pizza ovens and a 10-inch Dobsonian telescope for stargazing under Jura's pristine skies.

Each bothan sleeps two and is dog friendly, blending rustic charm with thoughtful modern touches like stocked reading nooks, board games, and guides to nearby walks and Jura history. The retreat is a place to disconnect or gently recalibrate - Pi and Lynton provide just enough support or space, depending on what your stay calls for. An upcoming retreat studio will add meditation, yoga, library and social space to the experience.
