The Gaelic culture of the area is reflected in the name of the cottage-Sith Thaimh (phonetically She-Hive) which means a peaceful dwelling.

This is a two bedroomed cottage (sleeps 4 ) with fully equipped kitchen, shower room, sitting room and large conservatory. There is a lockable outhouse with drying facilities, a toilet and storage for bikes, fishing rods etc. There is a picnic table and chairs. There is also an outside drying area with clothes line. Ample parking is available on a monoblocked driveway. All linen is supplied and electricity is included in the tariff. A TV/DVD, radio, books and magazines are available. There is a fridge/freezer, washing machine, cooker with hob and also a microwave oven.

Our rentals run from Saturday to Saturday and we have a strictly No smoking policy. Guests are welcomed by the owner ,keys are supplied and any queries are dealt with in person.

The cottage is located approximately 2 miles from ferry terminal at Tarbert Isle of Harris. Overlooking East Loch Tarbert the cottage has an ideal situation for walking, fishing, bird watching or just chilling out. The location is quiet and peaceful although Tarbert which offers all the amenities one would need is only two miles away. The cottage is surrounded by outstanding views of moorland ,rocks and sea. Wildlife such as seals, otters and eagles can be seen from the conservatory. Beautiful beaches are 6-8 miles away.
