New Haven is situated on Elie High Street and ideally placed for local Shops comprising of a Newsagent, Baker, Delicatessen, Pharmacy and the nearby Beach is within easy walking distance. There is also a super Ice Cream Shop and the Station Buffet, a friendly Pub to pop into for a refreshment.
Situated in the East Neuk of Fife, Elie has miles of golden sands, a variety of Water-Sports and beautiful Coastal Walks.
Elie has Tennis and Padel Courts, 2-Links Golf Courses and is the birthplace of James Braid, 5-times Open Champion and world famous Golf Course Architect. Kingsbarns and Dumbarnie Golf Courses are nearby and St. Andrews, the home of Golf, is a 20-minute drive away and there are quaint, coastal fishing villages along the coastline that offer Boat trips and an abundance of Craft and Art Galleries.
Elie looks both to the Sea and the Land and its Beach is the perfect spot for Swimming and Beach games in the summer, or bracing seaside walks followed by a warming dram or hot chocolate in Winter.
The historic Harbour is popular with Yachts and small Pleasure Craft, whilst the Bay beyond throngs with Windsurfers and Canoers.
The fabulous Ship Inn Restaurant overlooks the stunning Bay and the famous Cricket Team plays Cricket on the Beach at weekends throughout the Summer.
