Adjacent to the Ken Bridge Hotel in New Galloway is a small secluded riverside CL campsite. With pitches for 1 man tents up to tents for a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children) as well as pitches for trailer tents, motor homes, campervans & touring caravans.

The Campsite is featured on the Cool camping website and received the highest rating by the Tiny Campsites Book, it has also been featured in the travel supplements of both The Times and The Guardian newspapers.

Campers have 24 hour access to a shower and toilets with shaver points at the rear of the hotel.

There is a water supply, electric hook ups and CDP on the camping field.

All prices are per night and include VAT.
This price includes shower and toilet facilities and complimentary fishing on the hotel beat of the river.

Although above ground barbecues are most welcome, we cannot allow camp-fires or ground level barbecues as these ruin the grass.

Sorry we do not allow dogs on site (we have a daft territorial terrier)

PLEASE NOTE: That the hotel now only provides meals for hotel residents, we no longer provide meals for campsite guests nor the general public (places to eat nearby etc in location text).

The bar is open to the public from 5pm.

The Campsite has a spectacular location close by Loch Ken, in an area renowned for its tranquility and picturesque views.

The Campsite is a superb centre for fishing, golfing, hill walking, cycling on the surrounding quiet country roads, mountain biking on the world famous 7 Stanes routes, bird watching, photography, clay pigeon shooting, field and water-sports or for simply relaxing and taking in the wonderful scenery.

We are on the edge of the UNESCO Dark Skies Park created in 2009, which at the time was the only one in Britain and only the 5th worldwide.

Ideally situated enabling you to explore the whole of Dumfries and Galloway.
