V&A Dundee - Scotland's design museum and striking waterfront attraction in the heart of Dundee.

V&A Dundee is Scotland's design museum, located on the banks of the River Tay at Dundee's revitalised waterfront. Designed by internationally acclaimed architect Kengo Kuma, the distinctive building was inspired by Scotland's dramatic coastal cliffs and has become one of the city's most recognisable landmarks. The museum explores the importance of design and its influence on everyday life in Scotland and around the world.

Visitors can explore the permanent Scottish Design Galleries, which showcase centuries of creativity and innovation through objects from fashion, furniture, architecture, engineering and other areas of design. Highlights include Charles Rennie Mackintosh's restored Oak Room, alongside changing exhibitions, displays and events that provide plenty of reasons for return visits. General admission to the museum and Scottish Design Galleries is free, although some temporary exhibitions and events require a paid ticket.

V&A Dundee is a modern and accessible visitor attraction, with step-free access throughout the museum, lifts to all public levels and accessible toilets. Wheelchairs and portable stools are available to borrow, and assistance dogs are welcome. Its waterfront location also places visitors close to other major Dundee attractions, making the museum an excellent starting point for exploring the city's cultural and maritime heritage.
