Bourne End House is set in its own grounds, this imposing detached former 'gentleman's residence' is located on the private estate of Primrose Valley, some 1 miles outside of the the seaside town of Filey.

The holiday property boasts many original features with beautiful parquet flooring, original stained glass windows, high ceilings with original cornice work and spacious rooms to lose yourself in. Wander through the quiet estate to the stunning 5-mile stretch of almost deserted beach for a family day to remember. Primrose Valley is home to an 18-hole golf course and boasts a contemporary pub serving delicious English cuisine within a short stroll of the front door. The lawned and landscaped gardens are complemented with a hot tub and seating area with a barbeque.

Ground floor - 2 lounges, dining room, kitchen, conservatory, bar, bedroom, shower room, toilet, hot tub, children's play area, large garden, parking. First floor - 2 double, 1 triple, 2 baths, 1 shower, 3 toilets. Second floor - 1 double, 1 triple, 1 twin, 2 showers, 2 toilets.

The ground floor is made up of 8 rooms. Two of these are spacious lounges with original parquet flooring. One living room has an open fire. The bright and airy conservatory leads off one of the living rooms and is an ideal place to relax and look out over the landscaped gardens. The large kitchen/dining room makes an excellent place for you all to get together for breakfast and plan your day. This room showcases a Victorian range. On nice evenings you can sit outside on the seating area and enjoy a barbeque, whilst keep the children entertained in the garden, or for adults enjoying the hot tub. Alternatively you can spend an evening watching TV in your exclusive traditional English Pub which has a pool table, darts board, music and board games. The bar is accessed via the kitchen and is in a one story building so no one will be disturbed if you turn the music up and enjoy yourselves. The kitchen is fully equipped with a multifuel range, american style fridge freezer, washer, dryer, microwave, dishwasher,. Cutlery, crockery, pans and utensils are all supplied. Bed linen and towels are also provided. A travel cot and high chair can be requested but you will need to provide your own linen for the travel cot. The property has central heating throughout. Linen and towels are not changed during a weekly stay. There are four freeview televisions around the property, with a dvd player, ipod dock and free wi-fi. Sky tv with sky sports.

On the ground floor there is a disabled double room with a wet room shower and toilet. There is also a separate toilet on the ground floor and level access into the property and gardens. The first floor comprises of 2 double and one triple room. All the rooms are bright and airy with plenty of space. One double is a 5ft sleigh bed with en-suite bathroom with roll top bath, basin and toilet. The second has a double bed and the third has three single beds. There is a bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath, basin and toilet. A shower with a toilet and a separate toilet on this floor. The second floor has one double room, one triple room (three single beds) and one twin room. There are two shower room with toilets on this floor.

There is ample parking outside with a cycle store. A welcome pack awaits you on arrival. Up to 2 dogs are welcome but we ask that they remain on the ground floor at all times, and are not left in the property unattended. All pets must be deflead 7 days prior to arrival. Charges are 50.00 GBP per dog. This is a no smoking property.
Bourne End House is set in Primrose Valley and is an ideal location for exploring the Heritage Coast and the North York Moors National Park. Explore the ancient sea port of Whitby; the elegant seaside town of Scarborough boasts a wide range of shops, theatre, fun fair and colourful beach-front promenade. Filey offers 5 miles of stunning beach with fishing and sea-going trips from the cobbled slip way and some delightful restaurants. The North York Moors National Park is easily accessed. Pub 250 yards, shop and restaurant 500 yards.
