The Farmhouse - Sleeps 16 in 8 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms.

The Farmhouse has been recently extensively refurbished to a 4 star Gold standard. With oak flooring throughout the cottage, the lounge is unique in having a walk-in inglenook fireplace, with a log-burning stove. The lounge also has exposed beams and stunning views, the lounge leads to a private south-facing garden with patio and garden furniture.

The Pig House - Sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.

This converted cottage provides excellent views over the stunning Weardale, with an all glass gable end so views can be enjoyed inside as well as outside. The ground floor consists of an open-plan living/dining/kitchen area. With a large kitchen with breakfast bar, American fridge freezer, range oven, leading into the living area with widescreen TV with Freesat, log burner and patio doors leading to a private secure garden with a stream, small bridge and garden furniture.

New Hall Farm is a working farm in 2 miles from Wolsingham in the stunning area of Weardale, Durham.

Visitors can explore the local footpaths and the surrounding glorious walking country, whilst just 1 mile away is the delightful Dales village of Wolsingham with its cafes, pubs and shops. Pony trekking is available in nearby Hamsterley Forest and a nostalgic steam train ride on the Weardale Railway offers an ideal way to enjoy the local landscape (in season).

The historic city of Durham, only 17 miles away, is well worth visiting for its Norman castle, magnificent cathedral and river boat trips, whilst in happy contrast, cosmopolitan Newcastle for excellent shopping and fascinating architecture is a 24 mile drive. Beamish Living History Museum, Barnard Castle and Kilhope Lead Mining Centre are among the attractions close by, and Hadrian's Wall with its Roman forts and spectacular views of the Northumberland moors is within an hour's drive. Shops and pubs serving food 1 mile.
