Otters Retreat Self Catering Holiday Cottage is situated in Wincle in the South West Peak District ideally located for exploring the Peak District National Park, Leek, Buxton and Macclesfield.

The Lounge has an inglenook fireplace with a log burner, easy chairs to sit 4/5 people, a coffee table, occasional tables, a corner cupboard and a TV. There are great views of the Wincle countryside looking over towards Hanging Stone.
The Dining area sports a large table with chairs and benches (could sit 8) and a side unit with games and information.
The Kitchen is modern and attractive with built in microwave, fridge, oven, induction hob and dishwasher.
There is a toaster, a mixer, a coffee machine, a kettle and a radio. Best of all the kitchen is open to the dining area so if you're cooking, you'll never feel cut-off from all the fun.
The 1st Double Bedroom is light and modern with fantastic views of the surrounding countryside to wake to. It has a king size bed, side tables and reading lights, wardrobe and dressing table there is also a fantastic en-suite wet room - a great place to relax and pamper yourself.

The cottage has a patio at the front so guests can sit outside. There is a brick built barbecue so you can make the most of Summer evenings.
Otters Retreat is set in the grounds of Mellor Knowl Farm, a picturesque sheep farm in the Peak District village of Wincle.
You will be free to roam 38 acres of fields and woodlands including the banks of the River Dane that divides Cheshire from Staffordshire. You'll be able to walk to the charming local pub, The Ship, in 5 minutes over the fields. Make sure you bring your wellies!
With views of Shuttlinslow and hanging stone, it's great to know that there are numerous walks right from the cottage door.
Being in the Peak District National Park means you've got some of the great country estates to see plus for the more adventurous there's Alton Towers and you're only a short drive from the Potteries.
