The Treehouse

Kinchurdy Road, Boat of Garten, Inverness-shire, PH24 3BP

Set in woodland with views of the Cairngorm Mountains
The Treehouse is in the picturesque village of Boat of Garten, in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. This unique self-catering lodge is set in almost an acre of mature pine and birch woodland, with views of the Cairngorm Mountains.

The heart of the Treehouse is the spacious, comfortable lounge with log burning fire. It is a place to relax, and enjoy the views through the trees to the stunning scenery beyond, and the window seat, at the far end of this room, is ideal for birdwatchers and red squirrel spotters. There are three cosy bedrooms, large kitchen, modern bathroom, and a storage/drying room. The large deck, elevated to maximise the views, really does make you feel as if you are in a Treehouse.

The local shops are only a few minutes walk away, yet the lodge is peaceful enough that often the only sound is that of birds singing, or the steam train puffing past.

There are numerous woodland walks and bike trails nearby, and Loch Garten, home of the ospreys, is only a few miles away.
