Ingleborough - Climb one of the famous Yorkshire Three Peaks.

Ingleborough is one of the most iconic mountains in the Yorkshire Dales National Park and, at 723 metres above sea level, is the second highest peak in the region. Its distinctive flat summit and spectacular panoramic views make it one of the most popular walking destinations in northern England.

Ingleborough forms part of the renowned Yorkshire Three Peaks, alongside Whernside and Pen-y-ghent. Thousands of walkers take on the famous Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge each year ? a demanding 24-mile circular route beginning and ending in Horton-in-Ribblesdale. When completed in an anti-clockwise direction, Ingleborough is the final summit, with the ascent typically made from Chapel-le-Dale.

The mountain offers a variety of walking routes suitable for different abilities, passing through limestone pavements, dramatic caves, rolling upland scenery and traditional Yorkshire countryside. On a clear day, the summit rewards visitors with breathtaking views across the Yorkshire Dales, the Lake District, Morecambe Bay and even the mountains of North Wales.

Rich in geological and archaeological interest, Ingleborough has been an important landmark for thousands of years and remains one of the Yorkshire Dales' most rewarding outdoor adventures for walkers, photographers and nature lovers alike.
