Rated 4 stars by Visit Wales, Bryn Derwen is a small friendly family run Bed and Breakfast in the market town of Rhayader overlooking the Cambrian mountains. Just a five minute walk to the centre of Rhayader.

Dick and Liz Bradley are the sole owners and live at Bryn Derwen, we are hands on owners who oversee every aspect of the business.

We have three en suite guest rooms available, 2 King size double rooms and 1 twin room all furnished to a very high standard, with TV Freeview and Tea and Coffee making facilities in all rooms.

A full hearty breakfast is served in the guest breakfast room between 07.30 and 09.30, using local produce when available. Other times can be arranged to suit your requirements. If you have any special dietary requirements please make these known when booking.

Packed Lunches can be supplied on request at a small extra charge. Please order these the day before.

Checking in times are for a guideline and are dependent on room availability, we will be happy to see you earlier when you arrive just give us a call.

Check out time is 11:00

Pets are welcome at an additional cost.
Bryn Derwen Bed and Breakfast, Rhayader is approximately 5 mins walk from town and approximately 5 miles from the Elan Valley with it's reservoirs and dams.

Rhayader is the first town on the River Wye close to the Elan Valley.

Popular with walkers, cyclists, motorcyclists and off roaders, there is plenty to see and do around Rhayader.

Gigrin Farm Red Kite feeding station is approximately 10 minutes walk (or there is parking on site) where you can get up close and personal with the local Red Kite population.
