6 Seatown - traditional fisherman's cottage in old Seatown, Lossiemouth.
6 Seatown is a traditional fisherman's cottage built in the 1830s, gable end to the sea, in the oldest part of Lossiemouth. It offers cosy, comfortable accommodation in a stunning location, opposite the remains of the old bridge to East Beach and within easy walking distance of riverside woodland paths.
The cottage works especially well for couples and families, with a ground floor king size double bedroom and bathroom, plus the lounge dining area and open plan kitchen all on one level. Upstairs (with lower ceilings) there is a twin bedroom and a snug room with a second TV, best suited to younger children.
6 Seatown is cosy and intimate, with a sheltered, secluded garden and on street parking in front of the cottage. Modern comforts include WiFi, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher, and well behaved dogs are welcome - with brilliant walks straight from the door.
Lossiemouth has a dry, sunny climate (rare for Scotland), two vast sweeping beaches, abundant coastal wildlife and big skies that can deliver spectacular sunsets and even Northern Lights on clear winter nights. Whether you are here for beach days, surf culture, local seafood or coastal exploring, this is a place that gets under your skin.

6 Seatown sits beside Lossiemouth's famous East Beach area, with the beach and harbour atmosphere close by and the Moray Coast on your doorstep. Early mornings bring dog walkers, runners and wild swimmers, while
East Beach often has surfers and paddleboarders making the most of the waves.
If you love the outdoors, the Moray Coastal Path is ideal for walking, hiking, biking and trail running, with rugged coastline, sea views and wildlife along the way. Wet weather rarely stops local life here either - from coasteering and kayaking to kite surfing and wild swimming, the area is built around sea air and big days outside, followed by cosy pubs and cafes when you return.
Lossiemouth's location also makes it a great base for wider Moray adventures, from coastal villages and harbours to countryside walks, golf and local food spots. It is a hidden gem on the edge of the Highlands - close to famous routes, but with a character and calm all of its own.
