Our 2026 festival will take place from 27th May until 31st Junee 2026. Welcome to Listowel Writers Week, Ireland's oldest Literary and Arts Festival, where writers, artists and poets congregate in the beautiful heritage town of Listowel, in County Kerry.

We promote the writing of all genres and create an environment where literature can be appreciated by the widest possible audience, gathering writers and readers to celebrate the written word together.
