The Mount Bed and Breakfast is a delightful Georgian property, set in the heart of the village of Bishops Lydeard. At the foot of the Quantock Hills.
The Mount allows dogs to stay for a small charge of £5 per night, but they are not allowed on the furniture or beds. The en-suite room is self contained, having it's own front door access, so guests may come and go as they please. There is a double bed, settee, TV, Tea and Coffee making facilities, a small fridge and dining room table for breakfast. The Mount can also accommodate up to 2 additional family members in an adjoining twin room if required.
The Mount Bed and Breakfast, Bishops Lydeard is located on the main run through the village after leaving the A358. Access by rail to Taunton, then a 28 bus to the village.
Also located extremely close to the West Somerset Railway, with both steam and diesel trains running along the 20 mile scenic journey to the seaside town of Minehead, passing through and stopping at several interesting viallages including Stogumber - cream teas, Watchet, with shops and harbour, and the historic village of Dunster with it's National Trust castle.
