The Holly Bush is an Old drovers Inn dating back more than 300 years. A welcoming log fire and good company in the bar will make you feel at home with us very quickly.
We have a restaurant serving mainly home cooked food sourced as locally as possible, a well stocked bar and real ales.
There are six 'Four Star' ensuite bedrooms - three of which can be used as twin or family rooms. One room is on the ground floor and we also welcome pets.
Secure off road parking for cycles and motor bikes and drying facilities for rainy days.

We are ideally based to visit Kielder where you can find the fantastic Kielder Observatory and also Kielder Water and Forest Park which is the largest man-made reservoir in Europe as well.
Hadrians wall, Cragside House and quaint Northumberland towns, numerous castles and the unspoilt coast are in easy reach to name but a few of the many attractions in the area.
This is Border Reiver country and the Tarset Bastle trail starts at the car park in Greenhaugh. These fortified farmhouses were built in the days of turmoil to keep family and stock safe from Reiver raiding parties. Our guest rooms are named after seven of them close to the pub.
There are many walks directly from the pub and the roads nearby are quiet, scenic and what motorcyclist's and enthusiastic drivers dream about!
