Location
Lower Lakes, situated close to the village of Chilton Trinity, is a secluded area with an eight acre lake at its heart. Lower Lakes - all twenty-six acres of it - is owned by a family-run business whose aim is to provide a peaceful and secure haven for those who appreciate what our countryside has to offer. This is somewhere to enjoy the freedom of space, and to appreciate the privilege of privacy. Here you can relax, walk, watch for wildlife or fish the well-stocked lakes. Built around the water's edge will be a few stylishly designed, top of the range, log built holiday homes, sited to blend in with the setting and make the most of their enviable situation. There are two lakes available to the anglers and both have been established over 50 years, originally dug for Bridgwater tiles and bricks. Lower Lakes are proud of these beautiful wildlife lakes and their natural wild fish stocking policy, allowing the fish to spawn and proliferate, un-hindered in this eco-friendly environment and is a far cry from the muddy hole over stocked ripped fin and lips over fished fishery's that are sadly inherent across the UK. Over the last 50 years Lower Lakes has hardly been fished and therefore a wonderful natural haven has been created for fish and angler alike and an exciting fishing adventure of discovery lies ahead. The many species waiting to be caught within Lower Lakes are many and varied, Carp of over 20lb have been caught but almost certainly there are bigger ones to be found, there are wild Commons, Mirror, Leather and Ghost carp, along with pristine Crucians, Bream, quality Roach and Rudd, fine Tench and hard fighting Perch, even large shoals of Gudgeon can add to the enjoyment of a days angling.
