Description
Originally the granary, this superb upside down cottage has far reaching views over unspoilt countryside. There are three bedrooms, one kingsize, one twin and one bunk-bed room. There is a downstairs bathroom, beautifully paneled with a shower. A lovely lounge, kitchen and diner, with a strikingly high beamed ceiling which leads through patio doors onto a spacious balcony, ideal for eating out and admiring the coastal views. The kitchen is fully equipped including a dishwasher.
The cottages, with their traditional Cornish Stone walls, all have their own individual character, each one tastefully decorated and kept in excellent condition. Each cottage has pine furniture, open beams, stone walls, luxury fitted kitchen with ceramic hob, washing machine, microwave, fridge/freezer and luxury bathroom with bath and shower. A tumble dryer is also available. The wood-burners, full central heating, and double-glazing make the cottages very cosy, ideal for winter breaks. Fresh flowers, hand-made cushions, books and toys all add to the welcoming atmosphere of the interiors. A gas BBQ is also available. We also offer a babysitting service. To enhance your holiday in this beautiful Cornish countryside, the cottages have large, enclosed and well-maintained gardens with colourful shrubs and hanging baskets. For that peaceful early evening drink there are secluded patios with garden furniture. The gardens offer an ideal location for children to play, away from traffic, with swings, tree-house, sand-pit, and a playing field for ball games. There are flat screen freeview TV/DVD/Video players with videos to hire and INTERNET ACCESS in all cottages.
Location
Only a few miles from the farm is the Atlantic Coast, with spectacular cliffs, beaches and coves. Crackington Haven is ideal for exploring rock pools surfing or swimming. There are fishing harbours, the mythical Tintagel and not far away the educational Eden Project. Golf courses and riding are available, there is so much to see and do in this beautiful part of Cornwall.
